There will be four pitching categories, including Cyber Security, Citizen Collaboration and Education Technology. The fourth category will be a general GovTech category.

Each category winner will advance to a final pitching round, after which the jury will pick the winning startup. They’ll join 2018 winner Fleksy on our GovTech.Pioneers roll of honour. And as with the winners of all our industry-focused events, such as Mobility.Pioneers and Health.Pioneers, they’ll earn the right to return to Vienna and pitch at our flagship event. This takes place in the Hofburg Imperial Palace on May 9th-10th.

A number of startups will also be selected to exhibit their product or service at GovTech.Pioneers. And it goes without saying that ever attending startup will be networking busily with some of the world’s top Govtech investors and decision-makers. As always, our acclaimed Match & Meet tool will be there to help the right people find each other.
