Pioneers Events is currently looking for a highly motivated, talented, and driven event producer. Together with the Pioneers team, you will be key to planning the creative content of every Pioneers event - most notably our annual flagship event at the Hofburg in Vienna. You’ll be responsible for identifying the most relevant tech topics, creating inspiring content (including booking speakers) and setting an agenda that will keep our audiences on the edge of their seats. In addition to our annual flagship event - and we’d like to have you in time to experience Helath.Pioneers on October 10th this year - we also run smaller industry-focused events throughout the year, for example the annual Mobility.Pioneers event in Munich and up to four additional events annually.
Pioneers is an international relationship builder in the technology and startup scene offering events, intelligence, and venture capital. Over the last 6 years we have grown our flagship event - Pioneers'18 (former Pioneers Festival) to the leading technology gathering in Europe. While supporting startups stays at our core, we have learned how to leverage our network and deliver products providing valuable insights to some of the world’s leading companies and investment funds.
We are a fast growing team of 34 people from 15 nations located in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria.
A minimum of 3 years work experience as event producer or similar
Interest in the tech industry, enthusiastic about tech trends
Understanding in how technology is changing the world as well as ability to translate this into concepts/visions for our events
Confidence in interviewing potential speakers as well as assessing startups
Joy in networking, building strong relationships and communication in general
Ability to identify new business trends
Team player and experienced people manager
Content production and project management skills
Experience managing a production budget
Detail-oriented and organizational talent
Positive and motivated individual
You’ll be identifying tech trends through extensive research together with your team and designing content plan for our Pioneers events
You’ll be responsible for content-creation as well as setting and securing the agenda of our Pioneers events
You’ll be responsible for booking top-notch speakers and industry experts for all Pioneers events
You will work closely with our concept and productions agency Media Apparat before and during our event peak times to ensure smooth execution of our events
You’ll be developing professional and advisory networks to generate topics ideas
You’ll travel to international tech conferences to grow our network and stay connected to industry trends
You’ll be leading a team of program researchers and working alongside event operations managers
You’ll oversee and plan the yearly budget for productions
Full time position at Pioneers HQ based in the heart of Vienna, Austria or freelance contract if you are based outside of Austria/Europe, starting September/October ‘2018. Welcoming work environment with a dynamic, highly motivated and international team of 18 nations. Well known brand with a huge network in the startup area. The minimum full time salary for this position is € 37.000,- before tax/year. We are of course willing to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualification.
